Bale streak continues as Arsenal push too high up
Gary Neville said it and I will say it, as much as I hate Gary Neville. Arsenal paid the price for poor defending. Trying to keep a high line is one thing when executed properly and all in the team are on the same wavelength. However, if you are not talking to each other then the result is 2 goals to the oppostion. Arsenal had this dealt to them on Sunday as first Gareth Bale and then Aaron Lennon scored for Tottenham. Will Arsenal learn their lesson, I am not so sure.
AVB will be a happy man after this result. The 5-2 Spurs suffered earlier on must still haunt them and this time their win confirms them as not only the top team in North London, but as a result of moving above Chelsea, the best team in London. 3rd place for Spurs and Gareth Bale scores again.
I watched this game as a neutral, but something inside me wanted Spurs to win. Probably due to all the Arsenal fans I know and wanting to laugh at them. Either way, Arsenal played good football as always, but Spurs were more clinical and more threatening. Too soon to write off the Gunners but this is a season they want over as soon as possible. The sight of Ramsey playing at right-back in the later stages just makes you feel sorry for the guy.
Next week Spurs play Liverpool. Then I will be hoping for a change in their fortunes.
