RATING - 5/10
Something is wrong with the Fantastic Four's unstable molecules - therefore a trip into space is requried to fix it. This is what Reed Richards has decided as the only way to cure him and his team is to go where no family have gone before.
I for one like the direction the team is going in. The FF should always be about exploring and being a family, this puts the two together. However I am not too sure if I agree with the reason why. Why is it now that the molecules in their body are playing up? And why is a back up team required? (Read FF for the story into that).
I cannot thought put Fantastic Four to the side, because going into space and meeting new characters is what I love and how the team/family grow. The use of Franklin and Valeria will surely add a new dimension to the team dynamics and really bring them to the fore as characters.
My rating for this specific story though is only a 5. 2nd issue a Matt Fraction is taking it slow. No doubt about his ability but he has not gone out full blown in his approach but rather laying the foundations - get it?
