RATING - 8/10
So New Avengers has come to an end - 34 issues doesn't seem that many but we have to remember that it acounts to almost 3 years worth of stories and boy have we seen some good stories. Let us not forget the character development too, especially that of Luke Cage. Brought to the fore by Bendis, even though this story centres on Doctor Strange and a battle between sorcerers, it is Luke Cage we are left with thinking about and wishing for his return.
As we have all been waiting for, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones in this issue finally take leave of the Avengers to look after their child, and it takes the death of Victoria Hand and Doctor Strange regaining the title of Sorcerer Supreme to get us there.
As i write this review, i feel to revisit my inital rating of 6.5 and upgrade to an 8. This reminds me of why we all love Bendis and why the X-Men are lucky to have him.
